Jonathan Davis of Korn has revealed that while the band was recording “Korn III- Remember Who You Are” that he had been wishing he would die.
The Daily Star reports that Davis said producer Ross Robinson tortured him, forcing him to discuss his lyrics meaning.
It was complete hell making that record, said Davis. It was definitely one of the hardest things I’ve done in my life.
He was tormenting me, putting me in a space that I really didn’t wish to be in. I was put into a horrible depression. Once again I just felt like killing myself. I was really f**ked up. My buttons were being pushed. He was f**king me up and tormenting me.
